About Us

The Romney Marsh Community Hub – formerly the Romney Marsh Day Centre - is an independent charity dedicated to supporting and improving the health and wellbeing for people aged 50+ in our local community.

The Community Hub has its base on Rolfe Lane in New Romney, but our teams and volunteers help those living throughout the 100 square miles of the Romney Marsh.

About
Christmas 2019

We have been supporting those in need in the community in a number of ways for over 45 years. Our focus is to help those aged 50+ with their wellbeing, health and independence. We are committed to reducing the impact of loneliness and social isolation felt by so many in our community by providing an accessible and welcoming place for people to take part in events and classes, to meet and socialise.

From refreshments and hot meals to art and exercise classes, there is something for everyone – and we look forward to welcoming you.

In the community

From hot meal delivery to cleaning services offered in your home, our teams work hard to bring the Hub to those in the community who are unable to make it into the centre.

We can also provide transport to make your journey to us as easy as possible. Please contact us to find out more.

Volunteer With Us

We are always looking for enthusiastic individuals to volunteer with us. There are a variety of roles including: chaperones, gardeners, working in the charity shop, fundraising and events. If you can spare some time please contact the Hub - 01797 363888.
