Funders & Supporters
We receive assistance from a number of partner organisations and funders.
The support of our volunteers is invaluable; they work in a variety of roles across the organisation and, without their contribution, we would be unable to operate fully.
We welcome applications from people aged 18+ to join our team of dedicated, capable and passionate volunteers.
Who can volunteer?
We value diversity and encourage volunteers from all sections of the community. Our only restriction is that you will need to be over 18 to volunteer with us.
Why should I volunteer?
"I wake up in the morning knowing that I am making a real difference. As well as helping others, I am making new friends, learning new skills - volunteering gives me such a sense of achievement.”
Community Hub Volunteer
There are so many reasons to volunteer with us:
How much time will I have to give?
When you apply to volunteer, we will tell you about the volunteering vacancies we have available and as a volunteer, you can choose something that meets the level of commitment you can afford to give.
What volunteer opportunities do you have?
We have a wide variety of volunteering opportunities across a range of services, so there is something for everyone.
Activities and tasks include:
What experience do I need?
None at all – but if you have a skill or experience that you think will be useful to us and our guests, we’d love to hear from you!
Whatever level of experience you have, full training and support will be provided. Due to the nature of our organisation, a DBS check will be required, the cost of which will be met by us.
If you are interested in one of our many volunteering roles or have skills you would like to share, please ring the office on 01797 363888 and speak to one of our friendly staff. You can also email [email protected] for an application form.
