Walk the Marsh 2021: Over £1,300 raised for the Romney Marsh Community Hub so far!

The Romney Marsh Community Hub has completed its first annual Walk the Marsh and is overwhelmed by the community's support.

Kelly McGrath and Tracy Bartlett, who both work at the Romney Marsh Community Hub, took on a wet and windy – but hugely enjoyable – 45-mile sponsored walk of the Romney Marsh from Friday 29 October to Monday 1 November.

Taking in as many towns, villages and landmarks as they could in three days, Kelly and Tracy have now raised £1,386.71 for the Romney Marsh Community Hub’s vital work.

“Huge thanks go to Tracy and Kelly, along with everyone that supported them, for this amazing effort to Walk the Marsh.

Volunteers and users of the Hub joined them en route – and the sun even managed to shine at various points! We hope that Walk the Marsh will gain momentum next year, with schools and the wider community getting involved!
