How to get in touch with the Romney Marsh Community Hub
Posted on Thursday, March 9, 2023
The Romney Marsh Community Hub, which was the winner of the Kent charity awards 2022 Care Charity of the Year, has appointed Liz Taylor as its new CEO. Liz, who lives in Brookland, Romney Marsh will take up the post on Tuesday 2nd May; her appointment follows the departure of Jon Wilson, who announced that he was stepping down in December.
Liz has extensive experience of working in the Health and Social Care sector and has been working with the Alzheimer’s Society in Kent since 2014.
Neil McClure is the Hub’s Chair of Trustees.
“I am delighted to welcome Liz as our new CEO. I know Liz believes passionately in the provision of care for older people – especially those living with health issues – and I am confident that she will help us steer the charity in its next stage of growth. Liz has a huge amount of experience in this sector and is ideally placed to support the board of trustees to further develop and implement our strategic vision for the benefit of all in our community.”
Liz Taylor says of her appointment:
“I live locally and have watched with interest as the Hub has evolved in recent years and I consider it an honour to have been appointed CEO. I bring with me over 20 years’ of working in the sector and a well-rounded knowledge and hands-on understanding of the needs and experiences that people face as they age. I am keen to explore innovative new ways of developing community services, and playing my part in the future of the Romney Marsh Community Hub.”
